The pure joy of clutching vintage Mountain Dew bottle.

oh, I am just so excited. I have been pursuing these for weeks, and I have finally found them from a collector who lives high up in the Ozark Mountains, that I had to journey several days on foot to find. But I finally did. My beautiful, my wonderful, my magical vintage soda cans. It's the Mountain Dew one, with the hillbilly and everything! It's so amazing to just touch them and hold them and appreciate the real artistry that went into soda cans before it got ruined by modernism. Boy do I like the past. Not all the racist and sexist stuff, but I like the clothes, and the music of the past, and I like the trains. Oh, only we lived in glorious times where trains were traveled. I find that the most fun. It's great to see the landscape. When you're in a plane, you can't really see the landscape. And on trains, you can really get a full, wonderful sense of how good all the land looks, and that's the real joy of travel. Not getting there fast, but getting there happily.
