Adventures in the Pirate Continent: Episode 15 Phone-Like!
The night went by fast and as Dylan turned out to be drunk she went right past a phone that was ringing. This was good to know, that the phones were there, something fun and modern. It took her longer than she would have liked to admit to herself, that she could possibly use the phone for various phone-like activities, like calling somebody. She was also pretty drunk, and at one point she wondered if the phone would still be there if she didn't love it.
You know, normal things that a person thinks. She decided to reach out towards the phone and grab it and was thinking maybe, maybe Jay and Eliza didn't know what they were talking about with this whole situation. When she reached out to grab it she did not see the little note on the phone saying, "Whatever you do, don't answer this phone if it is ringing," that had fallen off it.
Well, it's probably not that big of a deal. So she picked up the phone. She heard a low ringing voice.
"Wonderful, wonderful. Hello, Dylan, it's good to finally hear from you," the voice said.
She hung up quickly. How did the phone know who she was? Oh well, best not to think about it too hard.
Probably won't come up again, Dylan assumed. Yeah. That's probably it.
