Adventures in the Pirate Continent: Episode Three - Enter Jay!
The sea monster looked like a whale and a shark had had a baby, and the shark had been large. Dylan Fender thought of this as she was in mid-jump to the mysterious ship with the mysterious voice that lay within the ship. She landed just as her life raft was destroyed by the monster.
She fell face-first onto the deck of a small ship. A gawky young man stood over her.
“Hi,” he said.
“Hi,” Dylan, still face-first on the deck, said.
The monster let out a high-pitched scream.
“Enough of formalities. I’m going to get us out of here or we die a terrible, horrible death,” he said.
Dylan, still face-first on the floor said, “Thank you. I’m Dylan.”
“Nice to meet you Dylan. Well, Dylan, will you excuse me, should we leave the introductions until we live? Do you agree?”
“Yes,” said Dylan.
Jay began to pull what seemed to be a collection of very complex strange levers. Suddenly the small, small ship took off at a great gallivanting speed of zero miles per hour.
“Well, there appears to be something wrong with the ship,” said Jay.
